Posti walkout expected to delay mail across Finland

Workers at Posti’s main sorting centre in Helsinki have staged a walkout over planned workforce reductions, with delays expected for letters and small parcels across Finland.

The protest began at the Pasila postal centre on Wednesday evening and continued into the night and Thursday morning shifts, according to Filip Djordjevic, chief shop steward for the Post and Logistics Union PAU at the facility.
