Why it matters: Vance, who worked in https://www.aspenideas.org/speakers/jd-vance" target="_blank">venture capital before becoming a U.S. senator from Ohio, has always had strong ties to Silicon Valley and the tech world.
The dinner was co-hosted by John Underwood of Goldman Sachs.
