WestJet has started parking airplanes ahead of a possible work stoppage on Sunday, leaving many travellers scrambling to find alternate flights.
The airline says this allows it to maintain control of its fleet and minimize the risk of stranding both guests and planes.
WestJet says it continues to bargain with the union representing flight attendants, but if no deal is reached by early Sunday morning, either side could initiate job action.
As Bianca Millions reports, one Edmonton woman says the dispute has already cost her thousands of dollars.
