Yale Whiffenpoofs at Nankai University: Music as a bridge between cultures and youth

CGTN CGTN — 3min

The Yale Whiffenpoofs are the world's oldest and most prestigious collegiate a cappella group, founded in 1909.

Fourteen of its members are in China for a multi-week tour.

In Tianjin, they took the stage at Nankai University and delivered a spectacular joint performance with the local university choir, using song as a bridge to cross linguistic and cultural divides.

They concluded their program with a moving rendition of the Chinese classic, "Let the World Be Filled with Love." #gencoolchallenge
