CIDG seizes P14M worth of ‘smuggled’ cigarettes in Zamboanga City

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur – The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Field Unit 9, in coordination with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Zamboanga City Police Station 11, intercepted at least P14 million worth of suspected smuggled cigarettes in Barangay Campo Islam before dawn on Sunday.

CIDG-9 said in a report that operatives
