The https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox" >White Sox will open the 2027 season March 25 in Detroit and play their home opener April 1 against the Brewers, according to MLB, which released every team’s schedule Thursday.

Highlights include six games against the Cubs — July 16-18 at Wrigley Field and Aug. 6-8 at Rate Field — and home series against the Cardinals (May 3-5) and Yankees (July 6-8).

The Sox’ final series of the season is at home against the Padres on Sept. 24-26.

The first Cubs series is scheduled three days after the All-Star Game, which is set for July 13 at Wrigley Field.

Of course, all of this is subject to change, with the players and owners seemingly destined for a labor stoppage when their collective-bargaining agreement expires Dec. 1.

As they did this season, the Sox will begin next season with a six-game trip, with three each against the Tigers and Royals.

On their first homestand, they’ll face the Brewers, against whom they opened this season in Milwaukee, and the Orioles.

Also like this season, the Sox will get their West Coast trips out of the way early.

They’ll visit the Athletics and Mariners on April 9-15 and the Angels and Dodgers on April 23-28.

Their farthest trip west for the rest of the season is to Denver to face the Rockies on Aug. 13-15.

The Sox made three trips west this season, all by May 24.

With the Giants and Diamondbacks coming to Rate Field next season, the Sox are spared a trip west.

Their longest homestand is 10 games, June 18-27, with three against the Twins and Rangers and four against the Royals.

Their longest trip is nine games, Sept. 10-19, with three each against the Braves, Yankees and Nationals.

The other National League teams that will make their every-other-year visits to Rate Field are the Marlins and Phillies.

The Sox’ other NL visits are to the Pirates, Reds and Mets.
