Kontra Sona: Cayetano tags Marcos ‘president of opposition’

MANILA, Philippines — Senate minority leader Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano on Tuesday tagged President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as the “president of the opposition” during the lawmaker’s Kontra–State of the Nation Address (anti-Sona).

Cayetano made the description as he defended his colleagues in detention for plunder charges,  Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Rodante Marcoleta, along with Sen.
