Ofcom has launched an investigation into whether TikTok is failing to protect children from harmful content.

The regulator has raised concerns over whether TikTok is failing to protect children from harmful content and the efficacy of its age verification systems.

The social media giant said they are "confident" that they meet Online Safety Act obligations.
