Around 100 students from China and the US are gathering in Guangdong from August 12 to 16 for the 2026 China-US College Fencing Invitational and China US Cultural Exchange Camp.
Harvard, Stanford, Yale and Princeton are among 13 US universities sending fencers to face peers from four Chinese universities.
The competition at Sun Yat-sen University includes foil, épée and sabre events, plus mixed-team matches that pair Chinese and American students together.
