Meet Alice Halsey, the young actress playing Laura on Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie

Netflix has just premiered its newest show, a remake of the 1974 television series Little House on the Prairie.

The original show from 50 years ago was loosely based on the book series of the same name by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and this 2026 version brings those stories to life once again.

The show made No 3 on Netflix’s list of global top shows that week, just behind the limited series I Will Find You and true crime anthology Worst Neighbour Ever.
