When Anita LeBrun discovered her assisted living facility in Minnesota couldn’t legally serve residents booze because it didn’t have a liquor licence, she decided to take action.

The 82-year-old testified before lawmakers twice, helping pave the way for a new law nicknamed the "Grandparents' Happy Hour."
