Path of Exile 2 debuted a new gameplay trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live, which revealed that the action role-playing sequel will finally launch out of early access on December 11.

The latest gameplay trailer offers a snippet of the sequel's narrative setup, as well as a look at its faster action compared to its predecessor.

Like the first game, Path of Exile 2 will offer incredibly deep class customization through hundreds of active and passive skill gems, with a deep emphasis on endgame content that will be composed of over 100 maps and grueling boss fights.

Path of Exile 2 entered early access in December 2024 across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

Participating in early builds of the game wasn't free, but developer Grinding Gear Games has confirmed that the game will be going free to play when it does launch into 1.0 later this year.
