Magnitude-7.7 quake kills at least 20 in Indonesia

At least 20 people have died after a magnitude-7.7 earthquake struck off Indonesia’s Flores Island on Saturday, damaging homes and public buildings and forcing thousands of residents to evacuate.

Rescue teams faced blocked roads and communication outages as they tried to reach communities near the epicentre.
