Uber Eats to launch delivery robots in Helsinki

Uber Eats will introduce delivery robots in Helsinki next week, making Finland the first European Union country where the food delivery platform will use robots for customer orders.

The company said in a release that the robots will start operating on Thursday in central Helsinki.

The launch comes as Uber Eats expands its Finnish service to eight more cities, increasing its presence after entering the market earlier this year.
