New housing construction in Canada slows, but rentals keep going up

New housing construction in Canada is slowing this year amid ongoing economic uncertainty, according to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.

In June, housing starts were down 13 per cent from last year.
While condo development is taking the biggest hit, construction of rentals is on the rise.
