The Exhibition Hall of Evidences of Crimes Committed by Unit 731 of the Japanese Imperial Army released new historical material on August 12, featuring testimony from a former medic with the Hailar Branch of Unit 731.
Tanizaki Hitoshi recalled his training in bacterial culture and described how the branch handled bacteria and laboratory animals.
His testimony provides further historical evidence of Japan's wartime biological warfare activities and the crimes committed by Unit 731.
