In São Paulo, a Chinese energy company headquartered in Wuhan is helping power millions of homes through the operation, upgrade and expansion of major hydropower projects, while also investing in wind and solar energy to support Brazil’s transition to a cleaner energy future.
For over a decade, Chinese and Brazilian engineers have worked side by side to modernize aging hydropower stations, reduce safety risks and ensure a stable power supply.
The partnership also supports local communities through ecological restoration, agricultural training and rural development.
From green energy in Brazil to scientific collaboration with European research teams, Wuhan is pioneering innovation across borders, where technology becomes a bridge, cooperation creates shared opportunities, and development brings people closer together.
