A Russian ballistic missile attack struck Ukrainian capital Kyiv overnight on Wednesday, killing at least nine people and wounding 60 others, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Parts of the city lost power.
Witnesses reported hearing more than 10 explosions in a short period of time.
