Turkmenistan calls Ukraine’s attack on Iranian vessel ‘unacceptable’

Turkmenistan’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday that Ukraine’s attack against Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea is "unacceptable."

“Turkmenistan, as a Caspian littoral state and a country with permanent neutrality recognised by the United Nations, emphasises that the Caspian Sea is a sea of peace, harmony and good-neighbourliness,” it said.

Kyiv's attack on the Iranian ship on Saturday killed at least one sailor and injured several others, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
