Tulfo eyes VAT-exemption for system loss charges, removal of energy tax

MANILA, Philippines — A bill seeking to exempt system loss charges from value-added tax (VAT) and another bill to repeal the collection of energy taxes were filed in the Senate on Tuesday by Senate energy committee Chairperson Erwin Tulfo.
