Nine Arrested in Matero Over Polling Agent Murder

THE Zambia Police Service has confirmed multiple arrests following isolated incidents during and after the August 13 General Elections.

In Matero, Lusaka Province, nine suspects have been arrested in connection with the alleged murder of 57-year-old polling agent LOVEMORE CHISHIMA. Mr. CHISHIMA was allegedly assaulted at Kasamba Polling Station and later died.
