French justice minister vows action on child sex-abuse cases after death of 11-year-old Lyhanna

Gérald Darmanin, under pressure to resign, ordered prosecutors to review all pending child sex abuse allegations before the summer holidays.

He said prosecutors highlighted 970 as high priority, with the child still a minor and the suspect having previously been accused.
