Canada has found itself at the centre of a trio of proclamations signed by the American president, that aim to further punish a decision to keep retaliating against the Trump administration's tariffs.
U.S. President Donald Trump signed three executive orders Monday, placing new 50 per cent tariffs on hundreds of Canadian exports.
These tariffs will take affect in 30 days, and are impacting almost everything and violating the current Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement on free trade (CUSMA).
Canadian goods affected include alcohol, dairy and agricultural products, as well as furniture, paper, hockey sticks and other gear, cement, clothing and textiles.
Reggie Cecchini has the latest details.
