Family of Norwegian adventurer who died in northern Manitoba returns to tell his story

He left Fort Severn, Ont., on foot on July 25, 2025, with his two dogs and the intention to arrive in York Factory, Man., on Aug. 15, but never made it." width="620" />

Adventurer Steffen Skjottelvik's death last year in northern Manitoba's Hayes River was a tragedy that has become the catalyst for a documentary, a book and a foundation to unite First Nations, Norway and nature.
