Nigel Farage has launched a blistering attack on Andy Burnham, branding him the “great chameleon of British politics” and demanding an immediate general election.
In a fiery speech, the Reform UK leader described Burnham’s leadership address as “utterly vacuous” and questioned whether his political ambitions were driven by conviction or personal ambition.
Farage claimed Burnham had no national mandate to introduce major political change, arguing that the British public should be given the opportunity to vote on the country’s future.
He also warned of possible tax rises, criticised Burnham’s position on immigration and the ECHR, and claimed Britain would receive “more of the same” under the new Labour leadership.
The speech ended with Farage calling for an immediate general election, saying voters—not the political establishment—should decide who governs Britain.
