‘OUR HERO!’ | Dublin BREAKS OUT in HUGE tributes to musician Glen Hansard

Oscar-winning Irish musician and activist Glen Hansard died in a motorcycle crash in Dublin in the early hours of Wednesday, sources said.

Hansard, 56, was the frontman for the Irish band The Frames, featured in the Irish film The Commitments, and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Falling Slowly” in 2007, which he co-wrote with Markéta Irglová for the movie Once.
