As Trump ends protected status, Haitians in the U.S. fear for their future

Haitians' permission to live and work in the U.S. is set to expire in less than a week.

In Springfield, Ohio, where Haitians make up roughly one-quarter of the population, there's concern that federal agents could immediately start targeting the community for detention and deportation.
