The ICE agent who allegedly shot and killed a Colombian national in Maine this week has a deeply troubling mental health history, his relatives and an ex-wife say.

Ashley had had concerns about David’s mental health, she also told the paper.

David is a U.S. Army veteran who had been receiving disability from the Department of Veterans Affairs, court records show.

Ashley told the Press Herald that she had gone to David’s superiors with her concerns.
