Nvidia in talks with OpenAI to guarantee $250B for US' biggest data center project that also has Japan's 'promise'

Nvidia is reportedly discussing a $250 billion financial guarantee for OpenAI's massive data center project.

This proposed arrangement would support OpenAI's plans to lease a large AI data center campus in Ohio.

Japan has committed $33 billion to fund a natural gas power project for the site.

The campus is expected to require approximately 10 gigawatts of electricity for its operations.
