India bans march on parliament by ‘Cockroach’ activists, risking a standoff
Police in New Delhi on Sunday banned a planned march on the Indian parliament by supporters of the viral, opposition Cockroach Janata Party.
The demonstration set for Monday, the start of parliament's monsoonsession, follows growing calls for the education minister's resignation over exam paper leaks and the forced removal of a hunger-striking activist to hospital.
