President Donald Trump’s aides tried and failed to stop him from raging about his thoroughly debunked claims of election rigging in front of the whole world last week.

The president, 80, https://www.thedailybeast.com/truth-about-trumps-election-plot-conspiracy-theories-busted-open-by-presidents-own-document-dump/" rel="">delivered a televised speech from the White House on Thursday night to warn that “great damage” has been done to the integrity of U.S. elections by nefarious foreign powers, leaving the nation’s polls “vulnerable to being rigged and stolen” and costing “the trust of the American people.”

He added that the “Deep State” had conspired to keep those efforts hidden from him during his first term.

His administration then released a batch of previously classified intelligence reports as proof of his claims.
