Orange alert stays for Mumbai as Tansa overflows, lake stocks rise to 62%

As heavy downpours continue, Mumbai is on high alert with the IMD raising an orange signal.

Tansa Lake's overflow has added to Vihar and Tulsi, pushing the city's water levels to 62% of capacity.

Palghar, however, is facing a severe red alert, but a reprieve from the heavy rains is projected for Friday.
