A major milestone has been achieved on the #Shiziyang Link, a key mega project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Construction of the east and west anchorages of Shiziyang Bridge has been completed.
The structures are the world's largest suspension bridge #anchorages, engineered to withstand massive tension from the bridge cables.
The bridge will be the world's first double-deck suspension bridge with a main span over 2,000 meters.
Upon opening, it will shorten travel time across the Pearl River and boost regional connectivity within the Greater Bay Area.
