River Tyne crane incident LIVE: Updates after huge emergency response at Port of Tyne

A huge 999 response has been launched at an ongoing incident at the Port of Tyne involving a dockside crane on Sunday afternoon.Emergency services including the North East Ambulance service and the Great North Air Ambulance were alerted to the incident in South Shields shortly after 1pm after reports a person had been injured.
