Carney to meet with premiers over new U.S. tariffs

Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to meet with premiers Tuesday after the U.S. announced 50-per-cent tariffs on some Canadian goods.

Several premiers said Tuesday that Ottawa needs to increase efforts to renew the Canada-U.S.-Mexico free trade deal.
