Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), the Appropriations Committee ranking member, got into a heated exchange with Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin over the separation of children from their families after being detained by immigration enforcement agencies.
"450,000 kids were lost during the Biden administration and you didn’t say a word about it," the secretary told her during a hearing Thursday.
"Mr. Secretary, do not interrupt," the congresswoman replied, gesturing toward the secretary.
"Don’t you point your finger at me," he said.
"I will point my finger at you," she shot back.
