Strait of Hormuz to remain closed until US meets Iran's demands, top negotiator says
More than five months into the standoff over the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's parliament speaker says the waterway will remain closed until the US meets Tehran's demands.
The announcement comes as a ship transiting the Strait was hit and damaged by an "unknown projectile," resulting in a crew casualty.
