South African swimmer Chad le Clos became the most decorated male athlete in Commonwealth Games history after winning his 19th medal with bronze in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay. “I shouldn’t be crying at bronze, I should be crying at gold, but honestly this means the world,” he said.

The 34-year-old is also targeting more medals and hopes to compete at the 2028 Olympics.
