Man shot and killed during fight in Lincoln Park, 1 in custody

A man was shot and killed during a fight Sunday night in Lincoln Park on the North Side.

The 30-year-old man was in a fight around 11:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Lincoln Avenue when he was shot multiple times in the body, Chicago police said.

He was taken to the Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he died, police said.

A firearm was recovered at the scene, officials said.

A person was placed into custody and charges were pending.
