Lagos partners with Zoomlion for waste management

Lagos entered a public‑private partnership with Zoomlion Nigeria to modernise waste collection, recycling, and disposal across the megacity.

The agreement includes the construction of new waste‑to‑energy plants and the deployment of smart‑bin technology, aiming to reduce illegal dumping and improve urban sanitation.
