Samsung Unveils Galaxy Z Fold 8 Series

Samsung launched its Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 foldable smartphones at an Unpacked event in London, featuring a wider design, new Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 processors, and higher prices.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Fold 8 use the Snapdragon chip, while the Flip 8 runs on Samsung's Exynos 2600, all running Android 17.

The company also introduced the Galaxy Watch 9, marking a shift away from its own Exynos chips for wearables.

The new foldables feature Flex Titanium display technology for enhanced durability and come with Google's Gemini Intelligence preinstalled for advanced AI-powered task automation.
