Ticketmaster breakup sought

More than 30 U.S. states have filed a formal motion seeking the court-ordered breakup of Live Nation and its Ticketmaster unit.

The lawsuit alleges the companies have maintained an illegal monopoly over the live entertainment industry.

The legal action follows years of consumer complaints regarding high fees and poor service.
