103 Ex-Rebels Receive P5.35 Million Aid in Samar

At least 103 former New People’s Army members and part-time supporters received a total of P5.354 million in financial assistance under the government’s Local Social Integration Program.

The beneficiaries, called peacebuilders, included former regulars and members of the Milisyang Bayan.

The aid aims to support their reintegration into mainstream society.

The program is part of the broader peace and reconciliation efforts in the region.
