Wreckage of Pan Am Flight 7 Found After 74 Years
Explorers using an autonomous sonar drone discovered the wreckage of Pan Am Flight 7, the Clipper Endeavor, which crashed into the Atlantic Ocean in 1952 off the coast of Puerto Rico, killing 52 people.
The crash led to requirements for the passenger safety briefings given on every commercial flight.
The discovery solves one of aviation's oldest mysteries and could offer new hope for families of other lost flights like Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which disappeared 12 years ago with 239 people aboard.
