US Measles Cases Hit 35-Year High

The United States is experiencing its worst measles outbreak in 35 years, with confirmed cases exceeding the total for all of 2025 and surpassing 2,300 cases.

According to the CDC, 93% of those infected were unvaccinated, as the highly contagious virus spreads rapidly in under-vaccinated communities.

Major outbreaks in South Carolina, Utah, and Arizona have been the primary drivers, overwhelming local health departments.

Health officials are urging parents to vaccinate their children and warning that the outbreak is not yet under control.
