UNC Football GM Lombardi Placed on Leave

The University of North Carolina placed football general manager Michael Lombardi on paid administrative leave effective immediately.

Lombardi joined the program alongside head coach Bill Belichick in December 2024.

The Tar Heels went 4-8 last season under their leadership.

The team has declined to comment further on the decision.
