McIlroy shares BMW Championship lead

Rory McIlroy bounced back from a disappointing performance at the St. Jude Championship with a 6-under 64 at the BMW Championship, joining a five-way tie for the lead.

Gary Woodland also shot 64, while Scottie Scheffler struggled.

McIlroy credited good work with his team for the turnaround.

The tournament is the second FedEx Cup playoff event.
