BHP Workers Strike at Port Hedland

Hundreds of BHP workers at Port Hedland, the world’s largest iron ore export hub, are set to strike for the first time since 2000, threatening supply chains as the miner reported record production.

The strike comes amid rising global demand for steel ingredients.

The industrial action at the Pilbara port could disrupt iron ore shipments and add pressure to global steel markets.

BHP said it was working to minimise the impact on operations.
