Pakistan Tutoring Centre Roof Collapse Kills 14 Children

At least 14 children were killed and 20 others injured when the roof of an under-construction tutoring centre collapsed in Kahna, a suburb of Lahore, Pakistan.

Officials revealed the centre was unregistered and illegally operating inside a privately owned residential building, where workers had been repairing tiles on the decrepit structure.

Authorities arrested the building's contractor as rescue teams continued searching for survivors.
