WNBA's Mabrey Ties Scoring Record
Marina Mabrey delivered a historic performance, tying the WNBA single-game scoring record with 53 points as the Toronto Tempo routed the Los Angeles Sparks 125-94.
The 29-year-old matched the mark set by Liz Cambage in 2018 and A'ja Wilson in 2023.
Mabrey shot 17 of 28 from the field and tied the single-game record with nine 3-pointers.
The performance shattered the expansion Tempo's previous franchise high of 38 points.
